Internet dependency

Weather: Rained so heavily I couldn't leave the office til 8pm. Did extra work, got a migraine, left my thumbdrive in the office. I hope no one steals it.

My disposition: Tired. Slept about four hours last night because I stayed up doing research for story ideas. We're starting on the June issue, how crazy is that?

Today, or rather, yesterday, was a very long day.

Started out with crazy long queues at the train station in the morning - even the ticket line for Harry Potter movie tickets weren't quite so bad.

Got to the office to find out that our Internet was down, and so was email server which meant that if I was going to do any work, it would be all from the head or referencing other magazines. And that I did.

Had a fruitful editorial meeting: this is the first month I'm flying solo. Yup, it's just me, my editor and our designer. The editor overseeing my section is officially off the books as of March which means I'm kind of doing her job, but not really because I don't get her pay nor her title. But it's okay, I'm staying positive and determined - I WILL get there. Just you wait.

Got a stack of CDs for review, am thrilled that amidst the usual pop is John Mayer's new CD! Have brought it home for a listen but too pooped tonight to do it (but not pooped enough to forego a chick flick - watched A Cinderella Story, Chad Michael Murray is so hawt).

I need more chick flicks. Damn you Twilight. Robert Pattinson, why do you have to brood so cute. Oy Twilight fans, recommend me something to ease the parting blow.

I think my hormones are out of whack.

Lots to do tomorrow, good night world.

This lasted for maybe two seconds.

Wahaha succumbed to the Twilight/Rpattz craze?

New York, I Love You is nice...like a series of short love stories stringed to one. As for not so recent chick flick: Bride Wars, The Holiday, The proposal, confessions of a shopaholic.

If you wanna dig more of Robert Pattinson....there's Little Ashes and How To Be....but don expect it to be anything like twilight! hahah

Oh, look out for his new movie coming out soon....Remember Me. It opens in Sg mid march :)

Happy watching :p
