There has been much talk about a certain caricature of which has caused a certain religion to feel extremely victimized and violated.

So what would be the right course of action?

We should use made up names for everyone. But this too has to be done with caution as it might offend people whose real names are the made up names.

We should blur out all the photos. Heck, I think we should just cut them out entirely. That picture of a wrinkled man simply offends me.

We should not reports news. Knowing that the price of chicken is fluctuating infuriates me as it demeans the very value of the fowls who have sacrificed their lives to satisfy ungrateful human appetites. I say we chop up those chicken-rearing/ chicken-eating people and we elect Pamela Anderson as queen.

If someone didn't write something in some way that's explicit (according to that someone) and if no one ever named names, gave numbers or took pictures, well, there would be peace on earth, wouldn't there.

And we can sleep peacefully, and blissfully shut our eyes to our own ignorance.
