Breathing in rainy days

I love Saturday mornings.

I love how it feels; as if God had pulled a Noah in the middle of the night and washed the city of all its scum.

Saturdays make the past five days worth of angst, swearing and pimples seem like last week's worry.

Anyway, my bet on Italy won me this.

Breakfast in bed

Weekend morning cartoons are THE best.

My Little Ponies, Cbbbare Bears, Transformers, Cartoon Network, Nickolodean, Smurfs, Mickey & Friends, Rugrats, Thundercats... I think it's one of the very few cheap pleasures left in life.

Spongebob Squarepants

Transformers

Batman

Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends

Jem and The Holograms

Saber Riders and the Star Sheriffs

Rainbow Brite and The Stargazers

Sesame Street

What was your Saturday best?

I win! *sticks out tongue*

Even the smallest gesture can mean so much.

Have you said a kind word lately?

-------------

Yours truly is no fan of football. In fact, I pretty much hate hate hate it because my favourite TV shows usually get cancelled for football broadcasts.

So you can guess that the end of dratted World Cup was happy news for me. No more previous night's match recap during cafeteria lunch. No more avoiding covering corporate football related events. No more credit card companies/fast food chains/pubs/bakeries with viva la FIFA promotions and deals.

NO MORE! AHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHH.

Now that I have clearly made my point that I don't like football, here's why I wanted to make it clear.

I made a bet with Moobs on the final match between France and Italy, you see.

Yours truly knows nothing.nada.zilch. about football beyond the David Beckhams, Michael Owen and Nakata.

But I won. Heh. Up yours football experts who discuss statistics and history and team management.

I win I win I win. *does a jiggy*

P/S Baby, remember the thousand island dressing in my sandwich this Saturday morning yah. And oh, do you think you can get me some grapes? I do so love my fruit.

This is my new RM285 LCD screen Fossil watch that I bought with my first paycheck.

The butterfly and flowers blink on and off.

*love*

I've been working on the railroad

So work is driving me up the wall and has quite encouraged my dislike for marketing whom I feel are constantly trying to dupe me because I'm the new/ inexperienced girl.

They badger me for free write-ups for their clients.

They want to bring me along to their meeting with their client's agency so that I can brainstorm with them for promotional gimmicks.

ExcUSE ME.(perhaps I am sending subliminal messages and asking people to abUSE ME. See, there I go again)

Last time I checked, I was still in the editorial department.

--------------

On the up side of things, attended Starbucks' new Java Chip and Choc Chip thingy launch and got a sugar high from drinking three cups of coffee straight.

--------------

It depresses me that I just spent 300 bucks that I intended to use to buy something pretty with on an Ionizer (fan-like thing that supposedly discharges negative ions) instead.

I knowwww, so AUNTY right?
