First post in Sydney!

Howdy all!

It has been an amazing 13 days in Sydney: touring around the city on foot (which has resulted in my having a clicky knee right now), hanging out with LC, shopping, uni, meeting people and today, moving in our own place that's shared with an Aussie guy who has an adorable dog and not so adorable cat.

Have taken lots and lots of pics too, most of which I've uploaded to Facebook so I might or might not put them up here, seems redundant/ pointless.

Classes start next week. I'm taking four subjects - Legal and Ethical Issues in Media Practice, Political Journalism, Online Journalism, and Book Production and Publishing Business. Only have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday which leaves me four completely free days to work part time/ study/ get lost in the city.

Main love so far: The Fish Market.

Pictures soon, I promise!

This is the day, this is the day

That the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice
and be glad in it.

Evening flight to KL today, will be bunking at Moob's aunt's place.

And tomorrow, will have to get a 1pm+ flight to Bangkok, wait there for about four hours, then make our way to Sydney.

I seem to be unreasonably calm, because that is not what I do.

My middle name is Dramaandcancryatthedropofahat after all.

It'll probably hit later, but that's okay.

This is for the long term, and with that picture in mind, one year (for now) is really a very short time span. It's like, one minute in a day.

See all the little whyIwillbeokay reasons I'm giving myself in my little screwed up head?

Sydneysiders, here we come!

Edit: Okay, 12pm now and officially feeling extremely depressed about leaving. Pour forth!

Counting down

is something I do.

I used to cross out the days on the calendar and keep tab on how many days were left til my birthday, christmas, chinese new year, the school holidays or our next family trip.

I'd even lose sleep over it on the eve of whatever 'major event' that's happening.

Every time I come back from KL for a holiday, and it's time to go back, I don't sleep for a day or two.

I've been back for three weeks and three days now. And that is how long I've not slept well. I wake up feeling worst than when I went to bed.

I get an average of four hours every night, last night was about three.

I guess I'm just compensating for the distance.

Just need a good night's sleep.

Have been waking up at 6ish 7ish in the morning every day for the past few weeks, regardless of whether I went to bed at 12am or 2am.

And while 4 hours might seem plenty, my head is fuzzy pretty much all the time and I just can't concentrate during conversations. I don't even feel hungry anymore which is a shocker because I ALWAYS want to eat.

Just the other night, I had an urge to whack my brother with his recorder when he couldn't play Mary Had A Little Lamb after my having shown him for the umpteenth time.

:S

Need to sleep else I'll be a total wreck when I get to Sydney this weekend.

Flight plans are: flying to KL on Thursday afternoon and staying the night there. Need to repack my luggage which I left in KL. Friday afternoon fly to Bangkok, and catch a connecting flight to Sydney in the evening. Should arrive there about 6am their time on Saturday.

This weekend.

O_O

I don't think I can take all this activity.

I believe

in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in his Son, Jesus Christ, the only son.

And that's it.

No church, nor congregation nor doctrine.

This is my move in renewing my christian faith, which sad to say, is practically non-existent right now.

It is difficult to believe in something which is so... unexplained.

So I have decided to take religion into my own hands. In order to save my belief, I put my foot down on the church.

Only God, and nothing else.
